About Dora the Explorer
Airing in 2000 as one of the first cross-cultural animated children’s programs, Dora the Explorer became a phenomenal hit, entertaining children and introducing young Americans to the Hispanic culture. Formally aired on the CBS television network, and now a prominent series on Nickelodeon and sister channel, Noggin, the extremely successful Dora the Explorer franchise has created a recognizable house hold name and hosts products ranging from videos to toys and children’s clothing.
In the series, Dora is an adventurous, bilingual, Latina heroine who lives inside a computer. Determined, positive, helpful and caring, Dora is always ready for adventure. Children learn by watching Dora journey through her world, gathering objects and clues to ultimately help a person in need or perform a good deed with her faithful Backpack, Map and her best friend Boots.
Not only is the popular program entertaining but the interactive aspects allow children to develop reasoning, problem solving and communication skills when the curious little explorer asks her audience at home questions to help her along her way.
In 2005, Dora’s equally curious cousin and frequent guest on Dora the Explorer, Diego, claimed his own spin off series, Go, Diego, Go! to continue the recent trend in bilingual animated children’s series. Looking for expedited shipping on this item? Please give our customer service team a call!

Play. Laugh. Grow. As the most trusted name in quality toys, Fisher-Price has been helping to make childhood special for generations of kids. While they're still loved for their classics, Fisher Price's employees’ talent, energy and ideas have helped them keep pace with the interests and needs of today’s families. Now Fisher-Price adds innovative learning toys, toys based on popular preschool characters, award-winning baby gear, and numerous licensed children’s products to the list of Fisher-Price favorites.
Fisher-Price was founded in 1930, hardly the best time to launch a new business as the shadows of the Depression still loomed over American business. Still, Herman Fisher, Irving Price and Helen Schelle combined their diverse manufacturing and retailing experience to create Fisher-Price's toy company and confidently brought 16 wooden toys to the International Toy Fair in New York City. The whimsical nature and magical surprises of those first toys quickly caught on and became the hallmarks of Fisher-Price ever since.

Comments about Fisher-Price Dora the Explorer Tough Tricycle:
I love this trike. My little girl is really wanting to learn how to ride a bike so we got her this as a potty training award. She loves it! Her favorite part is the storage in the seat. It holds a ton of toys...trust me, she fills it to the max capacity. I also love how light weight it is. My little girl is able to carry it up and down the 5 steps on our back porch. This is great for building independence!
We loved it so much we bought the Diego trike for my son!

Our daughter just turned 3 and has a little difficulty reaching the pedals, but she still loves scooting around on it. It will be a good toy for her to use in the years to come.
