Gave this as a gift for a 21 month-old boy and his family. He is a little small for the chair (can't touch the floor to rock it) but he loves sitting in it, and will grow into it. The parents LOVED it, and now want to buy the pieces that go with the set.

You must tighten the screws for the armrest first. The wood splits if you tighten screws out of order.

even though the screws are heavy and solid, the threads for the screws (in the wood frame of the chair) were not incised deeply enough, which made aseembly difficult and time-consuming. it took over an hour. but, once the chair was assembled, it turned out wonderfully. every piece fits tightly, and the chair is very sturdy. also such a fun design!

very happy with this purchase. The rocker is well made and nicely crafted. The animals are carved in to the seat which looks really nice and gives definition. My son was very excited to get this chair as part of his safari room.
