Founded in 1837, John Deere established a company that has grown from a one-man blacksmith shop into the widely known farm equipment corporation is it today. Employing approximately 47,000 people and retaining its initial commitments: integrity, quality, commitment and innovation, John Deere has become one of the oldest industrial companies in the United States.
Comprised of 4 different sectors for agricultural equipment, construction and forestry, commercial and consumer products and power systems, the company has evolved extensively over 170 years that it has existed. John Deere has begun focusing more on developing products for consumers that resemble fully operational agricultural equipment.

Comments about John Deere 36" Steel Stake Wagon:
This wagon is nicely constructed, although the wood sides could be sanded a bit smoother. They are relatively smoothe out of the box, but should be smoother for young kids that have softer skin. It took me only about 10 minutes to sand them, so it's no big deal.
