Swing N Slide went into business in 1980 when the idea of a do it yourself swing set was unheard of. Taking advantage of this market, they began selling swing set kits at a value cost that offered a flexibility that pre-cut or boxed swing sets did not. Not only does Swing N Slide offer a wide selection of do it yourself swing sets at a great value, they meet or exceed strict American Society of Testing Materials Safety Standards.
Swing N Slide has a culture of innovation, introducing the EZ frame bracket system, designing the first plastic slide, the first climbing rock wall, and much much more!Their ingenious idea to market three levels of swing sets geared primarily towards do it yourself customers spawned the 'Ready To Build Custom,' 'Ready to Assemble No-Cut,' and 'Ready To Build Wood Complete' kits. Most of the kits available are in the 'Ready to Build Custom Group'.
Each level is sold with a level of building skill that the customer will need to assemble. For the complete do it yourself customer they offer the "Ready To Build Custom' which comes with a kit that includes assembly instructions and hardware. For the beginner do it yourself parent they offer the Ready To Assemble No-Cut' which comes with all hardware, assembly instructions and pre-cut lumber, and finally for the laid-back customer they offer the 'Ready To Assemble Wood Complete,' which is a swing set fully loaded with accessories, pre-cut lumber, and hardware. Whatever the customer needs Swing N Slide has the product!
We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." Be sure to include your name and tracking number on the note.

My only problem with the bracket is that it only used screws to attach it to the 4x4's. I drilled 4 additional holes in the bracket and attached some bolts through both plates to make it a bit more secure.

Not as easy to install on 10' legs as it looks like it might be. Could have used some hints on stabilizing legs after first bracket installed in order to put second bracket on. The metal is not rigid enough to do it on its own. Simple enough when you add a temporary wooden cross piece to hold legs together and in position.

Worth shopping around for these. We returned some once we found this web site. Also make sure you count how may bolts you need for the whole project several times and save yourself a trip back to the store.

After giving the platform and slide to our neighbor, we were left with the a-frame minus one side. We used the bracket to finish the frame and hang an "adult" swing since our kids are now too old for the swing set that they enjoyed for many years!

These brackets are not bullet proof, but don't need to be for their purpose. When used correctly they will work just as well as higher priced brackets. Unlike some wooden built brackets these will not crack over time with the constant movement of a swing beam. I was a little hesitant to use them at first because they don't look very sturdy. I used them on a 10 foot high 14 foot long beam and they work just fine. Even with longer swing chains and three adults swinging. Use two brackets at each end of the swing beam. Use with the EZ Frame left and right side brackets (pair). Attach with quality screws.
